Two of our young people in Kazanluk are making important steps towards their professions with the support of the New Opportunities for a Successful Future project, financed by Address for 30 Young People program of the real estate company Address and BCause foundation.

Kaloyan* is still a student but has already completed a course in classical massage and SPA therapies. He still has to take the final exam before he can practice. While training, he deepened his interest in the field and sees a realistic opportunity to develop in it. He says that he would work with pleasure as a masseur and appreciates that the course offers him a basis for a more stable and independent life.

Two weeks ago, Iveta* completed her higher education and started a driving course. This is an important step for her towards greater independence and an opportunity for free movement – in her daily life, as well as in her future professional realization. Driving will not only be a practical skill for her but also an advantage when looking for a job.

Thanks to the program, Kaloyan and Iveta not only get access to the training they want, but also support from mentors who help them navigate the field they have chosen and build confidence in their abilities.

For a second consecutive year, Cedar Foundation is among the finalists in Address for 30 Young People program – an initiative of the real estate company Address and BCause Foundation. This partnership offers disadvantaged young people the necessary support to confidently get on the way towards their independent lives. It is part of Cedar Foundation’s long-term strategy to support the young people who are leaving or have already left their care.
