Multisport supports Cedar Foundation through the initiative “Sneakers Day”
On March 25, Sneakers Day took place – a socially responsible campaign by Multisport in support of a healthy lifestyle. The campaign was held for the fourth consecutive year and was in support of two causes, one of them is ours.
Thus, thanks to our new partners from Benefit Systems Bulgaria and their customers, we will be able to purchase a Swedish wall for the children in one of our centers in Kazanlak and organize a summer sports camp for our young adults with intellectual disabilities from Kyustendil.
In the last two years, opportunities for sport and active movement outside our centers have been limited due to the pandemic. More of our youth spent a lot of time at home. But the concern for good health and the need for sport and movement is of great importance to us in the care for the children and young adults with disabilities. That’s why we have started to focus our work on healthy eating, growing vegetables and more outdoor sports activities, as well as setting up play areas for sports and physical activity.
“We are happy to be part of this campaign, which offers an extra incentive to choose a healthy lifestyle. We believe that taking care of yourself is very important to be able to take care of others. We would like to thank the MultiSport team and everyone who chose to exercise on Sneakers Day for sharing with us the responsibility for the disadvantaged and giving a good start to our health initiatives in 2022.” said Iva Hadzhiyska, Director of Fundraising and Communications at the Cedar Foundation.
At Cedar, we know that to provide quality care for vulnerable people, we need more people to share the responsibility with us. That’s why we thank Multisport and their clients who supported the children and youth in our centers this year by working out on March 25.
