On 29 October 2022, for the 17th consecutive year, we invite donors, friends and supporters to participate and contribute to our work in the traditional Charity Ball.
Since the establishment of the foundation in 2005, we have consistently worked to provide better care and quality of life for disadvantaged children. During all these years, the children we first welcomed at our small group homes have grown up and become adults. During this time our team continues to work to change public attitudes towards disadvantaged groups, advocates for changing policies in the social area, and provides quality care for those in need of support.
Our Charity Ball is the event which helps us raise funds for additional social work professionals for our Small Group Homes, for specialized therapies, for educational support, summer camps, etc. Thanks to the sponsors and partners, all the money raised from the event will be invested in our projects and our direct work with the disadvantaged.
This year we are returning to the traditional format of the event and will be welcoming 130 guests to a gala dinner at the Hyatt Regency Sofia. The event is sponsored by CMS Sofia, Communitas Foundation, America for Bulgaria Foundation, Dundee Precious Metals, AG Capital.
During the evening we will seek support through a Paddle Raiser – a donation mechanism where we invite guests to donate towards a specific need, and a charity raffle. All the prizes are donated by our partners – Concert Complex Bulgaria and Sofia Philharmonic, Borovitsa Winery, Gourmet boutiques “Дар от Боговете”, Dabov Specialty Coffee, Amuse Bouche, Sircrow, Gyrocopter Bulgaria, Sail with me BG, Gela Hotel and Smilka Photography studio.
The host will be Blagoy Boychev – actor and director, one of the founders of Replika Theater. During the event our guests will enjoy an excerpt from the latest dance performance of Derrida Dance Company – BACK, as well as live music from Ninio & The Groovers.
The proceeds from the charity gala will go towards ongoing and future projects for the children and adults who live in our centers..
