This year we held the 12th Annual Charity Ball of the Cedar Foundation. The event took place on November 11 at 18:30 in Sofia Hotel Balkan. Over 200 guests – business representatives, diplomats, public figures, as well as the most loyal and long-time supporters of the Foundation took part in the event.

Thanks to the sponsorships provided by the partners, all the funds raised from the couverts, auction and raffle were invested directly in the care of children and youth in Kyustendil and Kazanlak.

After visiting the Cedar Foundation family houses in Kyustendil last year, Yana Titova has become a loyal supporter of our cause. She hosted our Annual Charity Ball for the 2nd year in a row, this time leading together with the famous actor and her family partner – Alexander Alexiev.

Yana is a Bulgarian actress and film director. She is known for her roles in the play “Three Sisters” and the films “Footsteps in the Sand”, “Sneakers” and “July”. She has won the Askeer Award for Rising Star and is the director of the newly released documentary 88 MHz. Alexander is an actor known from the Bulgarian hit series “Stolen Life”. Alek has also starred in many foreign productions, as well as in the Bulgarian films “Voevoda”, “Heights”, “Radiogramophone”, “The Singing Shoes”.

Preslava Fentham-Fletcher has known the Cedar Foundation since 2014. She has a great deal of experience in running auctions, and this year travelled from London to Sofia especially for our 12th Annual Charity Ball. Preslava was also an auctioneer at the 14th Traditional Charity Dinner hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.

Preslava is a director of Action for Russia’s Children (ARC). Each year the organization holds a Charity Ball in Moscow and donates the funds raised to 14 Russian charities supporting underprivileged children.
