Opportunities
Being a volunteer with The Cedar Foundation means dedicating part of your time, expertise and efforts to improving the lives of the children and young people with special needs we support. Our volunteers execute various activities from designing promotional materials to doing renovations.
The opportunities for volunteer services we offer are:
In Kyustendil family-type homes “Siyanie”
- Hairdresser
- Activities Coordinator (organizing and coordinating leisure time outside the facility and/or clubs of interests for the children and young people – art, music, sport, etc.)
- Trainer (a professional in the work with people with special needs who can do training with the staff members on various topics)
In Sofia
- Fundraising Assistant (assisting in the organization of fundraising events)
- Translator (from/to English and Bulgarian)
- Graphic Designer (preparing promotional materials like annual reports, brochures, flyers)
- Grant Writer (a person proficient in searching internet for potential grants and working with Cedar staff to complete the application process)
- Photographer (professional photographer who is available to take photos at events with the children and young adults as well as fundraising events)
- Donation sorter (someone to help sort the change collected in donation boxes and prepare it for deposit into the bank)
In Kazanlak
- Trainer (a professional in the work with people with special needs who can do training with the staff members on various topics)
