Sponsor a Career

Sponsor a Career is a program for hiring caregivers to work directly with the children and young adults with disabilities in the family-type homes “Siyanie” and Daycare center Kazanlak. Eleven companies and individuals from Bulgaria and overseas implement this program as their Corporate Social Responsibility. As a result in the year 2011 we managed to hire fifteen additional caregivers in Kyustendil and assure better support for the young people living there. The sponsors receive quarterly updates on the professional development of the caregiver/s and the difference they are making in the children’s everyday life.

Sponsor a Child

Sponsor a Child is a program aimed to provide one-to-one care and support for children and young adults who are in the most urgent need of it. By participating in this program you enable The Cedar Foundation to hire a one-to-one caregiver for a particular child or a young adult. The staff member’s responsibilities are related primarily to teaching the young person self-help skills, engaging him/her in play developmental activities, organizing specific educational, leisure and hobby activities in accordance with the individual needs and preferences.

Sponsor an Employee

Your organization can choose to sponsor the monthly salary of a Cedar Foundation employee thus sutting our administrative costs and allowing us to expand. Your sponsored emplyee will provide you with a quarter-monthly account of their activities and will be a good example of your committment to corporate social responsibility.

Sponsor an Event

If you would like to associate your organization with a credible charity and help us improve Bulgarian social services system, a good opportunity for your company is to sponsor our fundraising events throughout the year. They are attended by politicians, business leaders, diplomats and notable community members. Sponsoring an event is a terrific way to show your commitment to CSR and gives you an opportunity to place your branding throughout the event’s venue.

Purchase Cedar Holiday Cards

Each Christmas we offer the opportunity for you to buy printed and e-cards with holiday pictures drawn by the children with special needs we support. This is a great way to make your family and friends happy and simultaneously support our cause and improve the lives of the children and young people with disabilities in Kyustendil and Kazanlak.
