Social Rehabilitation and Integration Centre
The Social Rehabilitation and Integration Centre is a facility whose main purpose is to support the integration of persons with disabilities in the Kyustendil community. The Cedar Foundation in partnership with the Municipality of Kyustendil, the American organization NAVFAC and the English organization Speak Up is currently working on the construction and equipment of the center. Upon its accomplishment at the end of the year 2012 it will provide specialized therapy, consultation and support for community members with disabilities.
The facility will offer the following type of services:
- Special education activities
- Art therapy
- Labour therapy
- Speech therapy
- Sensory therapy
- Consultation
The Cedar Foundation still needs support for the provision of the necessary equipment for the centre and would welcome any assistance you are able to give us.
