Since September 1, 2013 The Cedar Foundation has partnered with the American organization Orphan Sponsorship International (OSI) in pursuit of our common mission – to provide a better life for disadvantaged people. Together, we developed the program “Sponsor a Child” for the children we are constantly taking care of in our family-type homes in Kyustendil and Kazanlak. The sponsorship of one child is $35 per month (60 BGN) and the entire amount is used only for the child’s needs. The sponsorship will enhance the individuality of each child and cover needs such as clothing, school/educational materials, transport and fun stuff such as birthday gifts, excursions and events. In short, it provides funds for each child to feel loved and be treated as a person. The sponsor receives regular information about the child’s development and the spending of donations. If you would like to know more about the “Sponsor a Child” program, please contact Iva Hadzhiyska at email@example.com.
“Sponsor A Carer” is a program that allows us to hire enough therapists to work directly with the children and young adults at our family-type homes in Kyustendil and Kazanlak. Companies from Bulgaria and abroad make such sponsorship as part of their corporate social responsibility program. Individuals also support us in this way. As a result of their help, we managed to hire additional therapists and provide more effective care to the children, living in the centers. Sponsors receive regular reports on the professional development of the employee, the development of the children and young people they care for, and the spending of their sponsorship funds. If you would like to learn more about the “Sponsor a Carer” program, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. See our short video, which shows the importance of the program to ensure a better life for our children and young adults.
