Alexandrina Dimitrova, the CEO of the Cedar Foundation, was selected for the National Network for Children’s mentorship program in organisational development and leadership.
The program aims to support the organisations participating in the National Network for Children (NNC) in a systematic and sustainable way. It will help them set and achieve individual goals for organisational growth and leadership.
In the very first edition of the program NNC will provide a mentor for each of the six organisations who will actively help them plan and assess their organisational growth for up to eighteen months.
During the first general meeting, which took place on October 18th-19th, the participants had the opportunity to choose a mentor and to discuss with them the main tools they will be using to assess and manage development as well as to plan the next steps together.
“We offered Alexandrina a to be a mentor because she is the CEO of an organisation that constantly develops and tests innovative approaches and builds upon past achievements. We believe that her insights and invaluable experience can immensely enrich our program, which is based on mutual learning.
Furthermore, as a charity foundation director she successfully leads in a way that embodies good standards of practice and promotes excellence in organisational development as well as that unites her team to work towards common charity goal,” says Maria Brestnichka, Network Development Director at NNC, in regards to Alexandrina’s mentorship invitation.
