We are very careful about the projects we undertake and we utilize the professional opinions and insight of experts in the field of de-institutionalisation before beginning new projects.  We believe in working on projects that allow us to work in partnership with local communities and the state government to ensure project sustainability. 

The goal of The Cedar Foundation is to permanently change Bulgaria by facilitating the closure all of its specialized institutions for children and young people and providing quality services for them within communities.  Every project we undertake is directly related to achieving this goal and we are encouraged by the tremendous strides we are making.
